MARRS OF ARIZONA State Championships 2003
Hey everyone, I hope you all had an excellent Holiday season! The New Year was great for our team who competed at MARRS State Championships.  Melissa Taranton Won all of her divisions, and it was her first year! Congrats.  Carter Harris Became a champion this year also in Weapons and Sparring.  Steven Atkinson also took home three in a row!  Our instructor Mr. Calantog won Sparring State Champion, and I took home all three as well.  Tori Ricciardi also had an amazing performance for her first year. Last but not least, Katie McDonald defended her Sparring title once again. This year's State Championships were filled with amazing competitors.  The 2004 year should be a great year to watch. Congraduations To Everyone!
2004 Valley of the Sun Nationals
Hey everone, The new year has begun and already VSN has started off with another explosive turn out.  Melissa had an awesome performance in Weapons. While Carter took first in both weapons and forms.  At the same time, Stathys and Constantina when head to head for first and second.  Tori and Tony both did great and willl continue to do so this year. Katie McDonald took first in Sparring and Mr. C Won Mens Fighting Champion. I won Youth Weapons/Forms Grandchampionships.  Steven took home all three of the division he competed in.  The big story was Sarah. She won the 14-17 year old Girls Advanced Sparring. Everyone from our team did amazing.  The next tournament is Copper Karate Classic.  Mr. Jones is hosting this event.  So lets get ready and we will see you all there!  Remeber, No dream too big, no goal too small. Striving for excellence in mind, body, and spirit.  - Chuck Norris.
2004 Copper Karate Classic
Wow! Copper Karate Classic was the best tournament I have ever been to.  The motivation level was amazing.  Grands was a blow out. Luke and I went head to head. Luke won and at the end of his kata, he took off his Gi! That got the crowd going.  The Ricciardis did great both in sparring, weapons, and forms.  Steven racked up once again, so did Carter.  Melissa took home a couple of firsts and a second in fighting.  Emily also won first in fighting.  Mr. Jones was running this tournament, and he did a fantastic job. The energy the tournament had was unlike I have ever seen.  Especially at Youth Grands.  People were chanting, motivating, screaming, and everyone loved it. Great Job team and can't wait to see you guys at East Valley Classic on April 17th.
2004 East Valley Classic
Well everyone, E.V.C was a huge blow out.  The team did amazing in all of the divisions.  The team brought home many trophies, many in the top three!  The Grands were spectacular.  Gi tops were coming off, even I tried to take my gi off but it didn't work.  to check out who won Grands, click on the Tournaments 2004 link on the top of the page.  TNT EXPLOSION is up next and then VSN 2. Keep up the great work team.
