What is Scrip?

WHAT IS THE GOAL: $20,000+ To do this, we are asking that each family sign up to purchase $300.00 per month in script – (this will raise $180.00 in merchant rebate donations).

WHAT DO I GET OUT OF IT? Each year, after you earn $180.00 in merchant donations for the football booster association, any additional rebate donation will be held by the boosters for your account and is available to you for reimbursement of expenses associated with football, such as letterman jackets, football summer camp, equipment, etc. (For example, if you purchase $500.00 per month for 12 months of Ralph’s scrip, you would earn $180 for the boosters & $120.00 for you).

WHAT IS SCRIPT? Script is a store certificate (like a gift certificate) you receive from the booster association, when you prepay for purchases from your favorite grocery stores, restaurants and other retail businesses. In appreciation for your business, participating stores are willing to donate a percentage of your expenditures to the football booster program, (depending on the business, the donation amounts vary from 1 to 15% or more).

HOW DO YOU USE SCRIPT? Instead of writing a check or paying cash for your purchases you give the script to the cashier.
