All Enemies of Israel are Enemies of Peace
                         July 31, 1997

Did anyone honestly think that terror has come to an end and that we were really
accomplishing something with this so-called "Peace Process"? Perhaps the Netanyahu
government believed that, prior to Wednesday afternoon, as they gloated over the fact that there
had been no more bus bombings since Netanyahu took office.
Now, as the myth of peace, love and friendship with the PLO has been shattered to bits,
one would have expected a shocked, bitter and angry prime minister to do a complete about face
and begin to combat our enemies rather than continue to appease them.
I admit that such an act of suicide cannot always be prevented. But that does not give us
the right to throw up our hands and say we cannot do anything. Netanyahu has long passed the
stage of political rhetoric. No one with any intelligence is much impressed that he expressed his
indignance to Arafat, and demanded that he fight terror. The fox will never protect the chicken
coop. The time for warnings is over. What is required now is strong and dramatic actions to
prove that when warnings go unheeded there is a heavy price to pay.
Until now all we have heard were warnings. Not once did Netanyahu reenforce any
warning with action. This makes him a paper tiger whose threats mean nothing. It is more than
humiliating for an alleged right wing extremist government to react to the slaughter of our
civilians by "reserving the right to chase terrorists into PLO territory". That right was always
ours. We just refused to exercise it. Can there be a more serious act of war than the horror of
mass murder in Jerusalem?
Netanyahu ignored the murder of our troops by their PLO "partners" in Shechem. He did
nothing in response to proof that the PLO police were deliberately involved, at the highest levels,
in the planning of an attack of Jewish civilians in the Shomron. And now, once again, he
continues to demand that Arafat "combat terror"!
How many more Jews need to be murdered before our prime minister recognizes the fact
that the PLO is our enemy? It is their goal to destroy Israel. It is pathetic to hear an apparently
intelligent leader continue to demand that terrorists fight terror. Terrorists do not fight terror.
They initiate it. And this is exactly what Arafat and his PLO have been doing all along. The time
has come to stop talking and start doing something to protect our people and our country from
those who seek to destroy us.
While I hardly would expect him to immediately cancel Oslo and remove all our enemies
from our midst (which he should do), I would at least expect him to enforce his own policy of
reciprocity. Even if he wanted to continue his ludicrous game of "peace" with the PLO he could
make a dramatic move which would have a powerful affect, and would be fully justified even by
the government's own warped standards.
In reaction to the mass murder of Jewish civilians in Jerusalem, the IDF should
immediately declare a military emergency and revoke the right of the press to be in Judea and
Samaria. Then they should re-take all of Hebron and move all the Arabs there to Gaza. After
this, an ultimatum should be issued to the PLO. They have two days to fulfill all of the
obligations which they have not fulfilled, including the extradition of wanted terrorists to Israel, or
they will lose Shechem as well. Once the PLO sees that we really mean business either Netanyahu
will succeed at negotiations on his terms, or we will, step by step, undo the wrongs of Oslo and
destroy our enemies.
The fact is that there is no future for us in this peace process. President Clinton, once
again, displayed either immense stupidity, or ruthless duplicity when he declared that the attack
was carried out by "enemies of peace". That was Peres' terminology and it is an insult to the
intelligence of any thinking individual. If there is such a thing as "enemies of peace" that would
include all of the enemies of Israel. For Israel is the only vehicle by which genuine peace will
eventually be achieved.
Mr. Clinton, read my lips. It was the enemies of the Jewish People who carried out that
attack. It was not enemies of Arabs, and most certainly, not enemies of this absurd "peace
process". I understand that the Arab nations consider Israel to be their enemy. But I do not, for
one moment, think that any nation is an enemy of peace. Even Arafat wants peace. Arafat
wants a peace which will see him as king of all of what is now Israel, as well as Jordan. Less than
that is not "peace" for him.
So let us stop playing games with words. President Clinton is placing the United States of
America in great danger by preaching meaningless illusions. Rhetoric aside, let us, once and for
all be honest. While my leaders do, indeed, want a utopian style peace where all peoples can live
together in mutual respect and harmony, they are the only people on earth who really think such a
thing can be accomplished at the negotiating table. The entire Arab world has only one vision of
peace. . . the entire Middle East without any area of Jewish (or non-Moslem) sovereignty.
Perhaps they would be willing to tolerate a Jewish presence, but only under Moslem rule.
Any effort at negotiations on the part of the Arab nations is for the purpose of
accomplishing this goal. It is a futile waste of time, and a harmful method of building up false
hopes, for us to engage the Arab world in such a meaningless effort. The end result will be a
devastating international conflagration. The truth is that I do not know if such a conflagration can
be prevented in any event. But I do know that if the people of the United States, most of whom
are honest, Bible-believing, Christians would demand that their leaders conduct Middle East
foreign policy in a manner which would serve the interests of the United States, rather than that of
the Moslem world which already is a declared enemy of that country, there may still be hope for
him to save that country from disaster.
And if the Prime Minister of Israel truly wanted to act in the interest, not only of Israel,
but also of the United States, he would openly tell President Clinton that he is wrong. The so-called "peace process" is a failure and must be scrapped. Moslems will never give up their goal to
conquer the entire world and place it under Moslem rule. The only hope for the future of peace
loving nations, like the United States, is in combating enemies of the Jewish People, the true
"enemies of peace". Look at what is happening within the United States today in regard to the
growth of Moslem power.
Israel is the moral center of the world. It is the hope for all of the nations of the world. It
will only be through the nation of Israel and the Jewish people, whose nation it is, that blessing
will come to the entire world. If Clinton has any hope to bring blessing to the United States of
America, and if Netanyahu has any hopes to be an authentic Jewish leader, then they both had
better stop talking about some vague, unidentifiable "enemies of peace", and recognize that all
enemies of Israel are actually enemies of peace.   To demand that we stop building in Har Homa;
to suggest that there is any place in the Land of Israel where Jews cannot build homes; to give one
grain of Jewish soil to the control of non-Jews; and to prevent Jews from praying at our holiest
site because it may cause an Arab riot are all factors which will guarantee terror and tragedy.
Only when the Jewish State becomes genuine fulfillment of Biblical prophesy by
conducting its affairs in accordance with Biblical mandates, rather than futile attempts to appease
its enemies, will we be on the road to genuine peace and redemption for all of Mankind.
