                   At Long Last, Real Rabbis!

Had a nuclear bomb exploded on the Knesset the repercussions could hardly have been
more shattering than the recent psak halacha issued by Chief Rabbi Avraham Shapira and his
council of Torah sages.
For tens of years the Jewish State has been running without the benefit of self respecting
leadership. Never before has this fact been so glaring and so dangerous as it has become today.
Our governmental system, which is neither democratic nor Jewish, rather an elite group of self
serving autocrats, offers no hope for the hapless and helpless electorate in the Jewish state.
When leadership is lacking; direction is missing and the nation is clearly sitting on the
brink of disaster, we can only hope and pray that help will come from some unexpected source.
The fact is that, for the Jew, the only hope for survival lies in our Torah. The guardians and
counselors for Torah Truth are our rabbis. Unfortunately most of our rabbis have, until now,
been intimidated from standing up and declaring what our Torah demands of us in these times of
difficult challenge.
When this Torah Council issued its ruling that it is against Torah Law for a Jew to
participate in the dismantling of Jewish settlements in Israel, they understood, full well, that the
fraudulent power brokers would react harshly. As Rabbi Meir Kahane, z"tl, H"yd often told us,
"Absolute falsehood immediately recognizes absolute Truth and seeks to destroy it."
How telling it was to have my observation confirmed that not one party in the Knesset is
worthy of the support of Jews. Every single party leader openly condemned an official psak
halacha from Torah sages. They openly spat on our Torah and spewed forth all kinds of nonsense
ranging from their "superior" knowledge of Torah, to the outright rejection of the right of Torah
to interfere in the "real" world.
In the last two elections for the Knesset I chose not to vote. Now I know how right I
was. There is nothing remotely Jewish to be found in our Knesset. Never will peace be achieved
by the small self-centered wizards who cast their spells and deny the Living G-d of Israel.
It took tremendous courage on the part of our dear Rabbis to stand up to all the vehement
reactions, including calls for their prosecution, and declare what our Torah requires of us. True it
is only a small beginning, but its effectiveness can be clearly measured by the magnitude of
reaction. The power brokers who presume to rule over us as dictators, are really afraid of our
rabbis. They know that they have no legitimate right to rule over Israel. They know that this
country exists only by Divine intervention. And they have always, deep in their hearts, feared the
real Sovereign power of Israel. Especially now, as they embark upon a process of outright
defiance of Zionism and Jewish Destiny, they are deathly afraid. That is why, when self
sacrificing Torah sages demonstrate their willingness to stick out their necks to hold high our
Torah and honor the Living G-d of Israel, at any cost, that our fraudulent misleaders quake in
their boots.
Imagine the futility to openly challenge the Living G-d of Israel as to who controls Jewish
Destiny! The real battle has, at long last, begun. And, thank
G-d, we do have real rabbis.
