                          The Big Lie

The Nazi propaganda machine worked on the principle that if you tell a lie over and over
again, eventually people will believe it. This principle also works in the form of self deception.
The government of Israel has repeatedly told itself that we have no choice but to find a way to
live together with our Arab neighbors. In spite of the fact that Arabs murdered Jews long before
the Jewish State came into being, and in spite of the fact that even now, with all of the efforts we
have made to literally cut ourselves into "peaces" to please our enemies, we refuse to see the
reality that our Arab neighbors will only accept a Jewish presense which does not include any
form of sovereignty.
This so called "peace process", in reality, is a process of reshaping Israel into an Arab
"Palestine". This was demonstrated most graphically last week as Shimon Peres met with Arafat
in Egypt under the patronage of our good friend Mubarak. Atop the building where they met
flew two flags. One was the flag of Egypt, and the other was the flag of the PLO. It was an
outright slap in the face to Peres and the Jewish State, but Peres failed to notice. Peres failed to
notice that his dear friend, Mubarak, openly treated Arafat as the official head of the Arab State of
Palestine, while relegating Peres to the role of the Jewish representative of the Arab State of
Palestine. Had we the good fortune to have normal leaders, relations with Egypt would have
been broken off at least until a formal apology was issued. Not so with our Foreign Minister. He
smiled proudly and said, "You thought that we would stop with Gaza and Jericho. We will show
you how we keep our promises. We still have more to give you."
With leaders like these, who needs enemies? Buses can be bombed in Tel Aviv and Ramat
Gan, and Rabin still insists that Arab terrorists who don't like Arafat are trying to stop peace.
The bodies of those murdered are still warm and Rabin vows to continue this madness.
In his quest for peace, Rabin and his ilk have scrapped every remnent of self respect and
have completely lost sight of the very reason the Jewish State was established in the first place. . .
and this in spite of the fact that they were there when it was first established!
Peres has decided to create a New Middle East in which the Jewish State will simply
dissolve, and Rabin has re written the Torah by declaring that Israel is no longer a nation which
dwells alone among the nations. Our Prime Minister refers to our religeous leaders as
"Ayatollahs", while praising the biggest murderer of Jews since Hitler.
Upon eulogizing his friend, Motta Gur, after he committed suicide (one cannot help but
wonder if Gur took his life to avoid the pain of cancer, or the greater pain of watching his Prime
Minister commit national suicide) Rabin made the most incredible slip of the tongue. He
repeated the most famous quote made by Motta Gur in June of 1967. . . or he tried to repeat it.
In the words of the Prime Minister Motta's words were, "The Western Wall is in our hands".
But every kindergarten child in Israel knows that what Motta really said was "The Temple Mount
is in our hands. Our Prime Minister has been lying to himself for so long that even he has come
to believe his own lies. To him the Temple Mount is an Arab holy place, not a Jewish one. Just
as the Cave of Machpelah in the Jewish Holy city of Hebron is an Arab holy place, and Hebron an
Arab city. Only by rejecting his heritage can Rabin sit with the likes of Arafat and presume to
come to agreements with him. And that is exactly what he is doing. And in this Rabin is not
alone. Every faction leader across the spectrum in our Knesset differs only in degree with the
manner in which the Jewish State is to find peace.
If we really want to live in peace there is only one place to look for peace. It is not to be
found in Egypt; not in Jordan; not in Syria; not even in the United States. Peace will begin in
Jerusalem the minute our leaders recognize to whom the name "Shalom" belongs. Shalom is one
of the names of the G-d of Israel. It is only by observing His Law that peace will result. It is the
most outrageous lie of all to suggest that by violating G-d's Law we will arrive at peace. The
only god worshipped by these cowards is the American dollar. For the hope of a handout they lie
to themselves and deceive their people. The Prophet Ezekiel (13:19,22,23) spoke of such
leaders:
"And will you pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and and for pieces of
bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by
your lying to my people that hear your lies?
Because with your lies you have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not
made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked
way, by promising him life:
Therefore you shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my
people out of your hand: and you shall know that I am the L-rd."
