The Time Bomb is Ticking Louder and Louder

The elections are over and the unwritten agreement to hold off on terror attacks has
expired. Again innocent civilians were murdered while driving home in the family car. Yaron and
Efrat Unger happened to live in Kiryat Arba, but they could just as easily have lived in Beit
Shemesh to have had the misfortune to be murdered. This drive-by ambush took place within the
so-called "green line" of pre-67 Israel.
The Ungers were on their way home from a wedding when Arabs in a passing car sprayed
them with machine-gun fire riddling the windshield with bullet holes. Their seven-month-old son
was with them, but miraculously escaped the fatal injuries incurred by his parents. Efrat was eight
weeks pregnant with their third child. Their two-year old son was staying with his grandparents
at the time.
Arabs will continue to murder Jews, no matter who is Prime Minister. The question is
whether or not our new Prime Minister will take innovative steps to prevent future acts from
occurring. You can bet that our enemies will try harder than ever to weaken us by increasing
terror attacks now. Biting our lips is just not the right answer.
Mr. Peres claimed that trying to stop terror is like eating soup with a fork. But he kept on
doing so. I cannot understand why it never occurred to him to use a spoon. One cannot politely
and antiseptically pick out the nice Arabs from the terrorists. It is an impossibility. Thus, at the
risk of being "unfair", we have no choice but to take a spoon and remove all of the Arabs if we
are to protect our citizens from being murdered. If we had no Arabs, we would have no Arab
terrorists.
There are many Arab nations in the world. They are far richer than the Jewish State, and
have a closer religious, cultural and familial tie with the Arabs of Israel than do the Jewish people.
Why then does the Jewish State feel an obligation to provide jobs and homes for those who
propose to annihilate us?
For those who tuned in late, there is a war going on. The Arab nations have still not given
up on their dream to rid themselves of a Zionist entity in the Middle East. Having failed to
obliterate us by frontal attack, they now have found a powerful political weapon called the "peace
process" by which they fully intend to destroy us "piece by piece". The incredible equation of
land for peace which would see Israel parceling out the tiny amount of real estate she has in return
for promises of her blood enemies has never produced anything but more demands for what is left
of Jewish land.
It is outrageous that any Israeli government could be duped into deliberately handing over
Jewish land to a concocted entity whose sole purpose for existing is to destroy the Jewish State.
Let us at long last listen to our enemies and believe them. If war is inevitable, and it is, then how
is it conceivable that we would deliberately weaken ourselves and strengthen our enemies as
means to prepare for that war? How many more of our people need to be murdered in cold blood
before our leaders understand that we cannot live together with our enemies?
We are now in a position to make the needed changes to save Jewish, and yes, even Arab
lives, by ridding ourselves of the enemy within. The time bomb is ticking louder and louder. We
can still pull out the fuse before it explodes in our face. Are you listening Mr. Netanyahu?
