                  To Pretend to be Democratic
                  While Spitting on Democracy
                        Guarantees Chaos

Kach has, once again, been banned by the Knesset Elections Committee from running in
the so called "democratic" elections in Israel. It is noteworthy that the members of this committee
are made up of members of the various parties which are running for the Knesset themselves and,
as such, do have a vested interest in banning a party which they feel might threaten their chances in
the elections. The concept of a committee to review the credentials of parties applying to run is a
reasonable one. But it is a clear and obvious perversion of the democratic process that such a
committee should comprise people who have something to gain by their decisions.
Of course Kach will appeal to the Supreme Court to overturn this prejudicial decision.
Whether or not the appeal will succeed is anyone's guess. In any event, the banning proves that
the power brokers are still afraid of Kach, and that Baruch Merzel is following in Rabbi Kahane's
footsteps.
It is not the Knesset Elections Committee, or even the Knesset itself that will determine
the future of our country. Jewish Destiny has been decreed long ago, and the Jewish State is very
much a part of it. When foolish Jewish so called "leaders" vainly attempt to turn Israel into a
Hebrew speaking Portugal, not only will they fail, but they bring tragedy upon the Jewish People.
Make no mistake. The Third Jewish Commonwealth will never fall. It will continue to grow and
prosper and eventually become the most important nation in the world. This will happen in spite
of us, even should we try to abandon our role as G-d's Chosen. But the more we refuse to accept
our Divine role, the more we will suffer and the more tragedies we will experience, G-d forbid.
The sole function of the Kach Party in Israel is to serve as the conscience of the Jewish
People. No matter what they do to us we will stand up and remind our people that we are a nation
of priests, a holy people, not to be reckoned among the nations. Peace will never result from Jews
compromising on Jewish principles. On the contrary. Only when we stand firm on those
principles, defying both economic and military threats rather than backing down on any one of
them, will we see true peace.
Of course I am disappointed that Kach has been banned. I am disappointed that my
government is still trying to stifle the still small voice of Jewish self-respect. But I am not
discouraged because I know that they will never succeed.
When the people of the nice quiet coastal Tel Aviv suburb of Bat Yam continue, night
after night, taking to their streets and shouting "Death to the Arabs", (not a Kach slogan-- our
slogan is "Arabs out"!), we can easily see far reaching ramifications to the foolish attempt by our
government to force down our throats the axiom, "we must live together with our murderers".
Had our program to remove our Arab enemies from our midst been carried out, years
ago, countless Jewish and Arab lives would have already been saved. If our foolish leaders
continue to pretend that we can go on living with our murderers, Jewish terrorists with the Bat
Yam mentality will arise and create chaos in this country causing loss of life and limb to both Arab
and Jew.
Rabbi Kahane, z"tl, H"yd, said it clearly and succinctly. "You have a choice. Either
vote for Kach, or you will be voting for the PLO". His words are coming back to haunt us as we
see the "right wing" (sic) Likud government already talking with "Palestinians" who are all PLO.
While the Elections Committee may, indeed, have forced us to "choose" a PLO
government. The Jewish People will never let the wholesale murder of our children by Arabs
continue without a fight. Bat Yam is but the tip of the iceberg. The Jewish victims have had all
they can take. On top of this, their only vehicle to express their discontent in a peaceful,
democratic fashion was taken from them. Rather than eliminating the challenge to their leadership,
the banning of Kach is likely to guarantee a far worse reaction by an already angry and frustrated
Israeli population of victims of Arab terror. The ostensible purpose of the banning, to quiet the
angry populace, will never succeed. Rather, in place of a reasoned methodical solution to our
problem of Arab terror, we will only see increased terror on both sides with no solution, other than
a bloody one, in sight.
