"Thank you, Mr. Chairman (Arafat), you are very kind."
                              Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu

I could think of no better way to sum up the completely incredible sellout of our country,
by a man, whom so many thought to be our most brilliant right-wing prime minister, than to quote
the above remark which he made to the murderer of our people upon receiving a bouquet of
flowers for his birthday.

The same man who dazzled President Clinton with his brilliant insistence on the concept of
reciprocity, which, indeed had been accepted by the President as reasonable, has just signed an
agreement whereby Israel will give away 13% more of Judea and Samaria to Arafat; will, defacto,
accept PLO sovereignty over all the Jewish land upon which we have only agreed to permit them
autonomy; will allow them to keep all the illegal weapons they already have; will allow them to
keep all of the murderers they already harbor; will release over seven hundred murderous
terrorists whom we have in our jails; will permit the opening of a PLO airport and sea port; and
will permit Arafat's plane to come and go without inspection, in return for meaningless paper
promises by two proven liars. Now that is reciprocity!

To add insult to injury, reports had been leaked on Friday that Netanyahu had demanded
that Clinton too make a sacrifice for peace. The media reported that Jonathan Pollard would be
released as a condition to the signing and would return to Israel with the Prime Minister. Indeed,
a crisis had been reported when it was said that Bibi was refusing to sign until Pollard was
released. I have no way of knowing how authentic those reports were, but clearly the President
of the United States had a personal vested interest in getting that agreement signed. He also has
absolute authority to authorize Pollard's immediate release no matter who might object. The fact
that Pollard was not released only shows that either the entire episode was staged to make Bibi
look good, or he just backed down completely. Clinton's later statement concerning Pollard
indicates that his release is highly unlikely.

Ariel Sharon had proved to American authorities, years ago, that Arafat had personally
ordered the murder of American diplomats. Clinton certainly knows that this "Nobel Prize
Laureate" is a murderer who should be tried for crimes against the United States, yet he honors
him as a hero. All three signatories to this ridiculous agreement are liars. Only one is lying for
the good of his people and that is Arafat. The other two lied for their personal political interests,
above that of their respective countries. Rather than ushering in a new era of peace, as suggested
by their eloquent oratory, the results of this perfidious agreement will produce exactly the
opposite affect. Israel will be weakened considerably and her enemies will be enticed to unite and
attack her on all fronts in an all out effort to destroy the Jewish State.

What is even more remarkable about all of this insanity is the fact that it would seem
that the cabinet will approve this sellout and thus guarantee its passage in the Knesset. All red
lines have been crossed and no one seems to notice. We have backed down on everything and
are preparing to surrender yet more Jewish Land to our most implacable enemies who already
are using what they have as safety zones from which to attack and murder Jews. If anyone
was listening to Mr. Arafat, who lies the least of the three, he said, loudly and clearly, before
the world and before Netanyahu and Clinton, that this agreement will grant PLO sovereignty
over the lands given over to him. That, my friends, is an out and out violation of Oslo. Oslo
only intended to permit the Arabs to rule themselves on Jewish soil. This statement overtly
declares sovereignty, which is synonymous to statehood. And no one stood up to disagree!
We needn't wait for May of 1999. We already have a PLO state on Jewish soil which is
accepted by everyone, including our Prime Minister!!!!

No, Mr. Prime Minister, Arafat is not very kind. He is not even slightly kind. He is a
murderer and he intends to destroy the Jewish State. You are either intensely stupid or a
traitor to your country. I do not believe that you are stupid. You could have at least secured
Pollard's immediate release, and you did not. You did not have to agree to a deal which sees
you virtually surrendering to our enemies and giving up every shred of decency your position
could have held.

Contrary to your belief, all those who still believe in the dream of Zion will fight to
remove you from office. Yes, even if we have to get a left wing prime minister who is no
better than you we will do so. You have caused more harm to the Jewish State than any
former leftist government. We cannot afford to have you continue in office. We are not only
disappointed in you, we are deeply ashamed at your cowardice and treachery. The slogan
which helped elect you was wrong. Netanyahu has been bad for the Jewish people. The
Living G-d of Israel will send us a genuine Jewish leader to rescue us from this madness. And
your name will go down in history as one who could have saved his nation, but traded true
glory for a photo opportunity with Arafat and Clinton.
