Why do the Goyim Hate Us?

Perusing the last few issues of the Jewish Press, Crown Heights and Lionel Jeffreys
seem to have captured the attention of nearly every contributor to its columns. Fear, dismay,
shock, and anger have Jews and non-Jews invoking logical arguments to prove that black anti-semitism is unjustified. They have been eloquent in their proofs and, undoubtedly correct in
their premise. But, unfortunately, the mobs who spew forth their hatred either haven't read the
articles, or couldn't care less about logic.
The fact of the matter is, my friends, that black anti-semitism is no different than
any other kind of anti-semitism. From time immemorial we have been hated by all kinds of
people, regardless of race color or creed, simply because we are Jews. Many of our people
tried to change their appearance, in the hope that their Jewishness wouldn't be so obvious and
that the goyim would stop hating us. Some even went so far as to convert to other religions.
No matter what we did we could never rid ourselves of the horror of anti-semitism. Hitler
butchered priests who were found to have had a Jewish grandparent.
Anti-semitism has never been a justified or logical behavior. It is the curse of the
Jew for living in the desecration of the Exile. Our Rabbis tell us that the Exile and the
Redemption cannot co-exist. When one is strong the other will be weak. Once the
redemption begins it will be like the sun. It will continue to rise until it sets. Nothing can stop
it once it has begun. Our sun has unquestionably begun to rise. As the process of redemption
continues, by definition, the exile must come to an end. As with all of our exiles in countries
in which we have become comfortable, the exile of America will never see Jews voluntarily
leaving for Israel in significant numbers. The exile itself will have to vomit us out and force us
to return home. The more we refuse to recognize our obligation to leave, the more bitter the
exile will become.
So stop writing letters to Governor Cuomo. Stop offering logical arguments that
blacks should love Jews because Jews fought for them, died for them, and supported them in
the times of their needs. It all means nothing. Open your eyes and at long last recognize that
America has fulfilled its purpose as a temporary haven for Jews, and now it is time to go home
to the permanent one, Israel.
