                         Expulsion Now!
                     by Gershon Ben Shabtai
                        December 8, 1991

Now that Rabbi Kahane is gone and no longer available for vilification, perhaps more
Jews will open their eyes to the simple truth that he saw so clearly yet was condemned for stating.
Let us honestly consider what we face in our only country. We have taken a
vanquished enemy and built him up. We invited him to become a citizen of our country, and, even
worse, we also granted him the status of belonging to a new nation which never existed. We
helped him to promulgate this deception to the point in which even we have come to believe in
it!
Despite the fact that the whole concept of any form of a Palestinian entity is a fraud
which only serves to undermine the very right of a Jewish State to exist, we have helped to
perpetrate that fraud. After twenty-four years of brainwashing, an entire generation of Arabs has
grown up in this country truly believing in the authenticity of this falsehood. We have helped to
convince them that they are a legitimate people whose homeland we have stolen from them.
As such there is no reason to assume that these Arabs will ever be willing to accept
anything less than a Palestinian State. Even if something less than this is imposed upon them they
will never rest until they get what they seek. Furthermore, they will never rest until they destroy
the people who made them suffer so for all these years.
So what hope is there for the future here? How long will we deceive ourselves into
thinking that some kind of accommodation is possible? Counter terror won't even deter these
people from seeking our destruction. There are but two choices. Either we leave or they do.
There simply is no other alternative.
By refusing to see that very real truth and ignoring the reality of the Arab determination
to destroy us, we are only making our only and inevitable alternative more difficult to carry out.
Every day, every week, every month and every year that passes finds the Arabs more determined,
more sophisticated, more ruthless, and more desperate to do whatever they can to destroy us.
They will never stop until either they succeed, or we do.

Every day that we refuse to remove the Arab cancer from our midst we are guilty of
the murder of more Jews. Has no one noticed that the intifada has escalated? Did you not hear
that Rachel Druck and Zvi Klein were murdered, not by knives, not by rocks, not by molotov
cocktails, rather by automatic weapon fire? Perhaps you didn't hear that cars from Kiryat Arba
were fired upon as well, only had the good fortune not to have been attacked by a marksman. The
fact that the bullets missed their marks rendered the incident unworthy of media attention. But
the facts remain. The Arabs take this battle for the land of Israel seriously and we don't.
In fact, during the recent Techiya convention, it was suggested that transfer be made
a part of their platform. It is too little and too late. For sure we will, in the future, hear such
suggestions even from the labor party. So what? Had we listened to Rabbi Kahane ten or fifteen
years ago we could have avoided the so called intifada and saved countless Jewish and even Arab
lives. Now, as the war escalates every day, we are just beginning to realize what he understood
way back then. Its either them or us. There is no compromise possible.
