The "Peaceful" Conquest of the Jewish State

While everyone is so busy arguing about maps and plans for another retreat before the PLO,
we would do well to consider how this process started in the first place. We truly have gotten so
carried away by the momentum of this bogus "peace process" that we have forgotten the most basic
premise by which it was first established. Were we but to honestly retrace our steps we should easily
be able to see that we have totally lost sight of the actual premise which enabled this process to even
begin. There really is no need to find a way to get out of this mess because there is absolutely no
justification to continue with it!
If you remember way back when we started with the proposal of Gaza and Jericho first, the
concept was to give the PLO a chance to prove that it can function, peacefully, as an autonomous, but
non-sovereign, entity on Israeli soil. Should it prove capable of doing so, Israel would enlarge the
autonomous areas so that the PLO could rule itself under Israeli sovereignty.
No one seems to have noticed that the experiment failed on all counts. The most blatant and
ignored violation was the fact that the PLO hoisted its flag and created a defacto sovereignty over
these areas from the very outset. This blatant act of war was cause for Israel to immediately cancel all
agreements, repossess these areas and expel the PLO from Israel. Instead our government accepted
defeat at the hands of our enemies and called it "peace"! Why is it that no one seems to notice that,
what was supposed to have been a generous offer of self-rule, has, defacto, already become an
established foreign sovereignty over parts of the Jewish State, whether or not Arafat has as yet
declared it as such?!!
Should any foreign entity encroach upon the soil of a sovereign nation and raise its flag, that is
clearly an act of war. In this case the State of Israel has invited the intrusion and recognized the
seizure of its land as legitimate!! I doubt that there is an historical precedent for such insanity. And,
what is worse, even after a new opposition government was elected, we find that this leadership too is
continuing a treasonous policy of surrender to the PLO enemy!
Today, even our most "extreme" "right wing" elements are merely demanding that the PLO
honor its already violated commitments before we surrender more land. I have heard no one offer the
most logical suggestion of all. . . recognize that we have been duped into surrendering our sovereignty
to an enemy and immediately take steps to regain that which was illegally taken from us, and remove
our enemies from our homeland.
If neither our government, nor any opposition group within or outside of our government, can
recognize the fact that this so called "peace process" is really a one sided war in which we are
surrendering our sovereignty to our enemies, why should we expect the United States government or
anyone else to do so? Oslo was never intended to become a tool for the creation of a new sovereign
entity in Israel. There are absolutely no legal grounds for any demands for territorial concessions. All
that was agreed was to test the possibility of allowing the PLO to govern its own people in Israel under
Jewish sovereignty. Clearly the test failed and the most basic premises were violated and even
replaced with new ones which were never intended.
The most basic obligation of any government is to protect the interests of its country. For any
government to renounce even part of its sovereignty to a foreign entity is an overt act of treason. How
is it then that such a policy is permitted without as much as a challenge from any party within or even
outside of the government? Are we all blind and stupid?
