CWC is comprised, at least initially of former members of RASH, former RASH membership
candidates, and left wing skins who are not affiliated with RASH, as well as other
“non-skinhead” leftists and antifascists. CWC folks who were members of
membership candidates left RASH for a variety of reasons, varying from individual to
individual. Some wholly personal, some political.
While CWC is not a part of RASH, and is unaffiliated with that group, we as anti-capitalists and antifas completely support any activities of RASH or any other organization that seeks to rid the earth of fascism, and promote economic democracy and freedom for all peoples.
CWC differs from, and is not a part of RASH for several reasons:
We are a very localized street organization of antifa and leftists who organize for a
better future. It is our opinion that a “network” of crews and
individuals, reliant upon a defacto “central committee” that is far removed both
geographically and culturally from the day to day goings on of most of its members is
inherently hierarchical, and necessity forces us to make ALL decisions on a local level.
While primarily a Skinhead gang, we accept other antifascist working class kids. It is our belief that limiting ourselves to a subculture as small as skinhead, with the number of left wing skins in america being negligible at best limits our effectiveness. We’re in it to win it, and want to be as inclusive as possible within the context of our beliefs and goals, and not ghettoize ourselves in a relatively obscure subculture.
As stated in our constitution, we believe in actively working to create non/anti capitalist economic institutions to provide a tangible example to our people of how we all can live and work together differently than we do today, and begin facilitating an infrastructure conduce to revolutionary change.
While tensions may presently run high, we hope and expect to work with RASH again in
the future. We encourage everyone to check out RASH, and what they have to say,
because we agree with nearly 100% of it. If you live on the eastcoast, or outside
the U.S., RASH may be of special interest to you. For those in the Midwest, THIS IS
CLASS WAR COUNTRY. Yeehaw.
