The Lineage of the Royal Princes of England

I am an avid genealogist and have been concentrating on the aristocratic families of Europe. Probably the most famous aristocratic family is the House of Mountbatten-Windsor, with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at it's head. Someday Prince William will inherit the Kingdom. And now my question to all: Which ancestor can Prince William (or Prince Harry) find the most in their pedigree? How many times does that individual appear? If you are interested in the answer, stay tuned as this page develops!!!

Wow, that was interesting, show me another ancient line.

Wow, one more time!

Wow, royal dynasties still exist as we enter the third millennium. And yes, the British Princes have many Royal Cousins. So we shall work to feature each reigning royal house still in existence. Although these families share many ancestors with the British Princes, there are some that do not. Thus, there will be a distinction between the lineal ancestors of Princes William and Harry, with these additional aristocrats. You will notice the following difference. All of the British Princes ancestors shall have the blue background on the page. If they are not lineal ancestors, the page background shall be a tan color. Of course, these royal houses do not recieve the publicity given to the British aristocracy, but their pedigrees are just as impressive, and almost always soon tie in to the ancestors on this page. As we add this information for each reigning house, a link will be provided here to jump start those interested in that particular family.
