It all started yesterday. Since then he wouldn't shut up.
"C'mon, Adrian! You saw Dai-Gurren on the screen! They beat that beastman's ass! We can do it! Let's get out of our village and take beastmen of our own!""No, get real, Dmitri. That's what idiots do. Idiots who want to get killed." Adrian sighed. He's been telling his friend this a thousand times already, you'd think he'd get the point!
Dmitri didn't seemed put down. "Then call me an idiot." With a determined step, Dmitri headed towards the gate that was deemed forever shut by the village leaders. "I'm not going to be stuck in this dank, underground shithole for the rest of my life!" His voice rang out to all corners of the cavern, seeming to rock it's very foundation.
"Wait, Dmitri you can't be serious, right?" asked Adrian, in a shaky tone.Adrian had known Dmitri his whole life. He was part of the pattern. There was nothing glorious. No outrageous adventures. It was just simple tasks, consisting of the things that mattered. Of the people that mattered.
"DMITRI!" Adrian's yell rang out with even more volume than Dmitri's outburst. Dmitri turned his head in surprise at his friend. "Dmitri�you can't go�"Dmitri scoffed. "Of course I'm going. It is time to punch life in its ugly face and just go with it! Learn to let go, Adrian, and come with me!"
