With an empty weight under 254 pounds, the ultrasport 254 is the only true ultralight helicopter in the world that conforms to the FAA ultralight regulations FAR Part 103. The Ultrasport 254 comes complete with a Hirth 2703-55hp engine, a state-of-the-art planetary gearbox transmission system, a super high performance rotor system coupled with a pair of infinite life composite main rotor blades and four composite tail rotor blades. Optional features such as floats may also be installed for added safety later. The Ultrasport 254 is marketed and sold only in the U.S. and other countries where true ultralight helicopter category is regulated.
