BRATUKHIN

TsAGI - BRATUKHIN
11-EA

Experiments with 5-EA rotor allowed Bratukhin to build a substantially bigger and heavier aircraft. The engine was mounted in the front end of fuselage, together with a cooling fan and radiator. The main rotor was same as on the  5-EA, but control rotors were placed on the wing (actually 11-EA had an appearence of a monoplane with helicopter rotor and two tractor propellers on the wing). Controls were included both for helicopter and airplane 'components' of the system. It was flown on the tether only, due to over-complicated control system. Only one was built.
