En 1907 el ingeniero militar K.A. Antonov solicitó una patente (privilegio) para su "HELICOPLANE", que obtuvo en 1912. La aeronave fue construida y probada en St. Petersburgo (1910). Era un helicóptero (?) de sistema coaxial con una hélice adicional para el desplazamiento horizontal. Todo el movimiento de los rotores eran manejados por un motor de 35 HP., tenia un control de pitch y se suponía un ángulo 0 de pitch para ser usado en caso de emergencia como un paracaídas. Todo los sistemas funcionaban perfectamente pero falló en el despegue. |

In 1907 the military engineer K.A.Antonov applied for, and in 1912 obtained a patent ('Privilege') for his 'Helicoplane'. Aircraft was built and tested in St.Petersburg (1910). It was a helicopter (?)of coaxial scheme with additional propeller for horizontal movement. All rotors were driven by single 35 hp engine. Aircraft had a collective pitch control of main rotors.
