Las mejoras técnicas adicionadas al A109 C son principalmente en el diseño y construcción de las palas del rotor principal que anteriormente eran metálicas y ahora son de material compuesto, el motor que ahora es un Allison 250C20-R/1, una transmisión principal reforzada y un nuevo tren de aterrizaje.
