of Inorganic and Physical Chemistry
of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences, the Corresponding Member of the AAS,
Professor, Doctor of Chemical Sciences Ramiz
H. Rizayev was borned on the 1-Nov-1937
in Nakhchivan (Azerbaijan Republic). His works mainly relate to the field
of oxidation catalysis, particularly ammoxidation of alkyl-aromatic hydrocarbons,
the development of effective catalysts for these processes. He is an author
of about 250 scientific publications.
At present Prof. R.H.Rizayev is
engaged in processes of activation of low molecular paraffins.
At the same time Prof. R.H.Rizayev
is the Ambassador of the Azerbaijan Republic in Russia.
