REGIS DEHOUX obtained a bachelor's degree in psychology and worked for several years in the social domain, mostly with the homeless, and psychiatric patients. He has always been involved with data collecting and stats, so his attraction to computers was very natural.
On his own he started programming all sorts of utility softwares that turned out to be big projects he could not handle by himself. Three of these were a 3D viewer, an animation tool and a programming language. He has also started an experiment to determine and show a relation between emotions, the chakras and astrology. After two years, it is now stalled at 13 subjects, while he would need at least a hundred for the study to be conclusive.
In July 1995, REGIS started working as a programmer at an Internet Service Provider, a challenge for him, having never worked in that field and never been online before. But he accepted the challenge and is proud of what he has learned and achieved since then.
Today, with the Internet in mind, he looks forward to uniting with people all over the world to work for increased human awareness. This would show in the way we use natural resources, how and why we build machines, and also in the perception that we have of what is worthy in life ("...something other than money").
