What follows are links to Usenet (Internet newsgroup) posts which have gone out or almost gone out since April, 1998, describing my experience, written by myself. They offer a convenient and quick way to get into a description of these occurrences, which are not easy to explain. Many of them were dashed off spontaneously, often under much duress--frequently the duress of actual torture by terrorists. They were attempts to cope with the hitherto secret and unknown in isolation, so there is no previous groundwork to base on. Also, I am not a technical expert of any kind. Under those conditions, some postings could use a little hindsight modification. I have put any qualifying comments made as an afterthought to publication in brown. I have made a small number of adaptations for presentation on the web. Previous pages were in part derived from these, so there may be some redundancy with the foregoing.
