Entry for December 7, 2007
Sharon had her Port-A-Cath put in this morning.  We then went to the Missouri Cancer Associates and began the chemo.  Things went very well.  She was not nauseated and had only a few leg cramps.  The chemo went even quicker than we expected.  The Rituxan six hour dose took only about four hours. The others took approximately another two hours.   We were out by 5:30 P.M.  Dr. Bala said we have a 60% chance of living 5 years and a 40% chance of living 10 years.  With prayers, faith in the "Great Physician" and determination to do what the doctor orders, we hope to increase those odds.
