Hello,welcome to my page! My name is Candice Rivera, I am a student at NEIU. My major is Accounting and I hope to gradutate in Fall 2016. Below is my Resume.
I have worked in my towns park district for the part 4 years.I started in the summer of 2012 as a summer camp couselor and during the school year I was just a regular counselor helpign with after school progarms. After two years of being a summer camp couselor, I became the summer camp director of the Teen Camp progarm. As the director I had to manage the budget and booked field trips and event accordingly. I also handled and problems or concerns the parents may have been having, and managed the staff at the camp.
I am hoping to recieve a job at either a firm or a well known company, like Kraft or Allstate, and be an accountant their. I would prefer to get a job as an accountant at a company over a firm, it is just my prefrence at the moment.

I enjoy to do many things in my free time when I am not studying and working. Some of there things include reading, watcing movies, drawing and painting. I also spend a lot of time with my family and friends, and enjoying traveling to different places I have not been to before. I hope to visit Europe in the future as well as other countries around the world.
I am bilingual, I speak Spanish and English. I actually learned how to speak Spanish first even though I was born in the US.
I know how to use a computer and work your basic progarms like Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. I have some knowledge on how to use Access, I currently use it at work, but I am still trying to learn more on how to use the progarm. I also know how to navigate social medias like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. I know how to work a web cam and how to video chat using progarms like Skype. I also know how to use copy machines.
In 2011 I graduated from Fenton High School, in Bensenville, IL. After attending high school I continued to get an education at Illinois State Univesity where I study for 2 years to become an Athletic Trainer. In 2013 I decided to change my major and transfered to Northeastern Illinois University where I am now studying to get my bachelors degree in accounting.
Additional information on me is that I am a mexican american, and that is why I speak Spanish fluently. I have been on a missions trip to Ecuador in the summer of 2014 where I helped with a church camp in the jungle for kids who are less fortunate. That expreince really helped me see more of the world and helped me get out of my comfort zone. I hope to be part of more mission trips in the future if I get the opportunity.
