Aragón is an old european country which is nowadays under spanish administration, located in the NorthEastern Iberican Peninsula, bordering in N on France,in E on Catalonia and Valencian Contry,in S on Castilla-La Mancha and Valencian Country and in W on Castilla-León,La Rioja and Navarra. Aragón is organized administratively in political unities called COMARCAS.
Campo de Romanos is a territory distributed between Comarca de Daroca and Comarca de Calamocha ,but a long time ago it was part of the Sesma of Langa( a Sesma was the smallest division except the Town). Sesma of Langa was part of the Langa Towns Comunity. Time after Campo de Romanos was included in the Daroca Towns Comunity. Because of the Aragón division in three provinces,Campo de Romanos stopped being an administrative unity since many villages went on to province of Saragossa and the other one on to province of Teruel. But in spite of this division people continue considerating it to be their comarca. It is very common in the area villages to listen to the assertion "Hoy estamos todos del Campo Romanos"("Today here is everybody from Campo Romanos"),because of it is demostrated that toponimin is still actual.

Made up for 11 towns:Badules, Romanos, Lechón, Ferreruela de Huerva, Cucalón, Lanzuela,Villarroya del Campo,Villadoz,Villarreal de Huerva,Mainar and Villahermosa del Campo,Campo de Romanos takes up an area of 250 square kilometers and the total population is around 1000.

In spite of taking up a quite small area,Campo de Romanos has several landscape which will surprise to the visitor:in the E we can amazed  La Sierra De Cucalón (the Cucalon mountains),with several peaks like "La Desilla" and "La Modorra",-this used in civil war like runway, thanks to its peak plain-; at the lower slopes it is the river Huerva Valley, where it is possible to amaze the constrast between the river area covered with trees(poplars and similar ones) and the rest of the valley, cultivated preferencily with cereals and sunflowers;and finally,in the W,there is a central plain which covers the Romanos,Lechón and Villarroya Area, where scarcely there are trees and the vast majority of terrain are cultivated with cereals; I would like to emphasize that in the western boundary, there are beautiful precipices to Jiloca Valley. You can visit it,look at this link:
