One of my earlier outings in photoshop. UGH.
Apollo, God of the Sun, and Artemis, maiden Goddess of the Moon. The celestial twins had always been two of my favourite Greek deities. I decided to draw them for Bifrost's 'Yin and Yang' Project. I like Apollo's smug sort of expression, but Artemis looks hella freaky!! (But then, she always struck me as a pretty scary kind of goddess...) The Chinese character in the top left stands for 'sun/male/brightness', while the one at the bottom right stands for 'moon/female/darkness'. (Thanks to Jenny Ruiyun Jiang! :D)
