This fashion-type drawing was spawned from Max Ernst's "Declomanie" technique. Just a fancy word for squishing blobs of paint between two surfaces. You know-- like those butterfly paitings you used to make in kindergarten. Hmm, come to think of it, I really should make another of those butterfliy paintings!
This was a study for my Ultimecia Costume. I likened the shapes of the paint blobs to those that make up the scanty outfits of Siren and Shiva from the videogame Final Fantasy VIII. Any old excuse to associate my videogames with schoolwork!
