These sketches are from the "Around the World" clip, which is beautifully done. It was fun to try and capture the writhing movements of Anthony's funky snakearm dance thingie that he does. I drew all of these in study for re-design of the "Californication" cd cover that I did as a school project. I really hate the Californication cover. It's ugly. I wanted to design something that really caught the essence of their sound, funky, sexy, red. I brought the sketch on the bottom left into photoshop and jazzed it up a little.... (see next pic)
