Should We Tell???
The flames of death leap so high
The pain so intense it makes one cry
Fear and torment mixed with hate
Oh boy ain't hell great?
All our friends now reside there
All because we didn't care
We told no one of Jesus love
So into hell our friends we did shove
We kept our light hid under bushel
We cried as they through the dirt with a
shovel
We mourned for our loss not theirs
In the end for whom did we really care?
Do we love others or just ourselves?
Telling others is a matter of heaven and
hell
For our friends do we really care?
If so then Christ with them we will share
We told our friends to go to hell
Not telling about Christ we might as well
We didn't say it but our actions did
Not helping them as they walked across the
rotted lid
Now today they burn forever more
While we walk on the crystal shore
How careless the lives we lived
When we should have to others gived
If we were to live once more
Would we tell our friends the way to the
shore?
Repentance from sin and faith in Christ
Gives the believing soul eternal life
Should we be selfish and hold it in
Not to tell others is really a sin
We should let God's light within us show
And from our hearts His love should flow
We should not force or coerce
Just use the Bible verse by verse
The Holy Spirit to salvation draws
We must submit to God's laws
We do not have the power to raise the dead
It is like trying to pickup tons of lead
God has all the power and strength
We cannot save them no matter how much we
yank
God drags the lost to salvation
He alone can make a new creation
Tell others and do not force decisions
Cause in the end there will be a division
The devils also believe and tremble
And with mental assenters in hell will assemble
From the heart man believes unto righteousness
Salvation comes from God's Mightiness
If we could keep our friends from going to
hell
Would we allow ourselves to tell?
Surrender to God and let Him do the work
Or don't and just be a jerk
Friends don't let friends blindly fall into
hell
Jesus Christ is a living well
Jerks don't broadcast Christ and share
Maybe they really just don't care
Are we jerks or friends of God
Wide is the path to hell and well trod
God is love not willing that any perish
Christ's sufferings we should cherish
Are we going to be selfish and hide
The truth of Christ and how to abide?
Or will we tell are friends the He died for
them
If we don't tell now then when?
After our friends are dead and gone
All we can say is we did them wrong
If we want to share heaven with them
Now is the time and the when
