2003 - Calipe World started as a little project that I wanted to see if it would work. I started looking for free web hosts in the web and founded the right one for me. Then I began to build my own website.
At first it was kind of a bad looking website but after I began to see other websites for inspiration I began to make changes and the website began to look a lot more professional.
2004 - The year began slowly for Calipe World almost no one visited it, but it wasn't until March of this year that I added the Chat Room then the website had a real theme althought I already was working in the Video Game Corner. Then I added the Award Program, and the Forums.
Calipe World is gaining power everyday and is my goal as the webmaster, to explote it's maximum potential. Now that I've learn how to use Adobe Photoshop I will work to get the website more pleasent to the eye. Also another goal for me is to upgrade from a free hosted website into a paid website but that is until Calipe World provide its own money, until then I will stay as I am right now.
Maybe someday Calipe World might become a big website such as yahoo! or newgrounds.com, but until then I will work harder everyday to bring you the best my website have to offer.
Who knows?! You might be one of the first to see this website becoming big, so when the website becomes really big, you would be able to say "I saw that website when it was just a baby!".
About the design of the website - The design that you see now was created by me (Carlos F. Perea) in Adobe Photoshop 7.0 it is the fourth template that I had incorporated into the website. I'm constantly retouching and refining the design so it is getting better and better every day.
About Calipe World's logo - The logo that you see in the up-left corner was created by me (Carlos F. Perea) in Adobe Photoshop 7.0. It represents an U.F.O with glowing lines coming out of it.
