These notes are designed to allow somebody to correctly use Calašan. These are not authoritative, but are provided for convenience.
acquire - adquirur is somewhat more formal than adcuirur in writing. They are pronounced the same.
admit - admitur is like the English "to admit", "I admit I did it." Permitur is like "to permit", "Please admit me to the stadium", "Please permit me to enter."
advise - advertur means something along the lines of "to advise/assist with shopping." Otherwise, take your pick.
aid - ayudur is more like "help", socorrur is much more common and means "aid".
allow - permitur, once again, means "to permit".
also - auzh is somewhat more formal than tabino
annoy - abburur is less formal than enojur
anoint - unguour is more archaic than untur, but they are largely interchangeable.
answer - contesti is less formal than antworto
answer - contestur is less formal than antwortur, respondur means "to respond".
apologize - disculrur is closer to "to make amends", oscarur is more commonly used.
appear - surgur is not as formal as bhavatur, aparecur means "to appear (such as an apparition)"
applaud - aclamur means "to applaud and acclaim", aplaudur means "to applaud"
arm - harmo is less formal than brusa
arrange - arreglur means "to arrange", ordenur means "to arrange/order", organizur means "to arrange/organize", and acomodur means "to arrange".
as - ciom means "as" (like "as much as", "as rich as", etc).
ask - pedur means "to ask for", preguntur is "to ask a question", and rogur is "to ask or beg"
ball - pelota is less formal than pelozha, which means a small ball. Balyon is a larger ball.
bank - argentario originally meant a bank that dealt in coins, but now it means a large banking organization. Bancho refers to the small bank branch.
beam - bruhni is a beam of light, albvo is a beam of wood
beard - revolu is a very upper-class term for any facial hair. A barto usually is smaller than a bardehi, and is usually a goatee.
body - krepo means "dead body", ieni does not.
bowel - zharnei is more formal than korde.
breakfast - frusto is much larger than eiunio. Frusto can also mean "brunch".
bridge - ponso is a large bridge, ponti is smaller, and bruške is a small or temporary bridge.
