There are many other companies that claim to build and sell Cajun Microwaves but, our design is the only one that closley adhers to traditional designs without modern modifications. Real Cajun Microwaves is a Avoyelles Parish Louisiana based company that only uses cypress wood for its construction. Cajun or "coonass" Microwaves were invented by my ancestors and we will not change it's original design or intent.
Cooks pork, beef or chicken inside the box while using charcoal to provide the heat. Our orginal design allows you to cook whole pigs (up to 40 pounds) to perfection!! The result is a flavour locked taste that leaves meat very tender and exploding with taste.
You don't have to be a Cajun to use our box. We provide instructions that show you how to get the best tasting meat out of your Cajun microwave.
