We have anxiously awaited the birth of our baby for over nine months.  We went to the hospital Tuesday night with a winter storm approaching, bring freezing rain and snow.  After a long night of labor, our son came into the world.  He was born at 8:20 am on Wednesday, March 8th of 2000.
    Braden weighed 10 lbs 5ozs and was 22 inches long.  His head measured 15 1/2 inches around and was covered in dark hair.  He looks very much like his daddy.

What is in a name???

  It took us a long time to pick a name but Braden is what we agreed on in the end beacuse we could use Brady as a nickname.  Both of our girls have nicknames, so he need one too.  We chose Ward for a middle name because it was the middle name of Cliff's grandpa who was born in 1900 and Brady was born 100 years later and will grow up on the same farm as his great- grandpa.
