Why You Don't Want To Pick At These Things...

Your mother told you not to pick at it or it'll get infected and your arm will fall off. Well, I'm here to tell you your mom wasn't all that far off...

Now, this is interesting. Here's a 60x image of my finger. What we have is a whole bunch of holes caused by a newly hatched bunch of these pests. What will happen is that I'm going to have a whole bunch of these things growing in a very small area. [Later] Sure enough the finger became thoroughly riddled with these things- basically it was turned into a raw hamburger.

Take that off and you've got a pool of brand-new thingeys; you can't see them too well in the image but, trust me, they did pop out just a couple of days later.
