| What are your fees? I have actually struggled with this question for sometime. First of all there is a $50 deposit which goes torwards your final price.. Generaly it depends on the dress the more handsewing involved the more expensive. The blue oriental dress on my homepage is $125 materials not included. The blue renaisannce dress is $90 materials not included. To resque a dress is usually far less. I guess what I'm trying to say is contact I'm easy to get along with and we can agree on something. Why do you keep saying materials not included? Because fabric choice is very personal. I feel if you are going to spend the money to have something made especially for you that you should feel involved in the process and should love the fabric of your garment. However, if you would like I can get the materials for you if you provide me with some guidance(color, fabric style, ect.) and materials will be added to your cost with an additional $10 gas fee. If I want a dress made for me how do we get started? First of all email me to find out about order availability. Then you provide me with a pattern or pattern number or a style from my webpage. Then we agree on a price and you send me the deposit and the material with your measurements Bust, Hip, Waist, and Shoulder height. If I am to provide the materials you send me your measurements with your deposit and I go shopping. How can you make a dress just for me without seeing me? Good question! I have a dress form that will accomodate a size 4 up to a size 16. I also have access to a dress form that will accomodate a size 18. With accurate measurements and a dress form it should go smoothly. What if my dress doesn't fit? Tell me where adjustments need to be made, mark them with pins and send it back. Theses adjustments are no extra cost. This is actually a part of the process and should not unnerve you. Please note: I can order special fabrics such as silk or velvet for a very good price. However they do take some time to get because they come from overseas. |
