The Beach Adventure (part II)

After taking a walk on the beach JD and Renee suggested that they�d go to a nearby nightclub. Everyone agreed so they headed to the nightclub called "Aphrodite�s." When they got in they found the club to be somewhat crowded, but Chris found a table and he, Ceci, Ezra, Vin and Maria sat down. The rest headed to the dancefloor and danced for about an hour. Vin, Chris and Ezra couldn�t help but laugh at Josiah, who they had never seen dance before.

"I believe Mr. Sanchez is having fun." Ezra noted in between laughs.

"I believe he�s infatuated." Chris said.

"What?" Maria said.

"Yes, with your friend, Laura." Vin said.

"Yeah, maybe so, but Renee is definitely taken with JD." Ceci said.

"And JD with her." Chris said.

"And don�t get me started on those two." Vin smiled at nodded towards Buck and Trix who were dancing quite close together.

"I think they�re a perfect match." Maria said. "They look very cute together." "Yep." Vin said.

After another hour "My heart will go on" by Celine Dion came on and Ezra invited Emily to dance and she gladly accepted. After a short time Laura and Josiah headed to the dancefloor, along with JD and Renee. After the Celine song ended, Madonna�s "Frozen" came on and Ceci looked at Chris.

"Care to dance?" She asked.

"I thought you�d never ask." He smiled and guided her to the dancefloor.

There he wrapped his arms tightly around her waist and she wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her head on Chris� shoulder. Before Ceci closed her eyes she threw a glance in Ezra & Emily�s direction. She smiled to herself when she saw the two dancing very close.
Ezra was enjoying the moment immensly, hoping it would never end. Emily was inhaling Ezra�s musky smell and she almost felt faint, she thought this was too good to be true. The only bad thing about this was that Ezra lived in Denver and she lived in New York.

"Emily?" Ezra southern voice brought her out of her thoughts.

"Yes?" She said looking up at him.

"The music has changed, shall we go sit down again?" He asked.

"Yeah, I guess." She sighed as she heard some fast song.

"What do you say to you and me leaving this place and taking a walk instead?" Ezra asked.

"I�d love to." Emily smiled.

The two told everyone that they were leaving and then they proceeded out from the nighclub. Outside it was still warm, but a more comfortable heat. Ezra softly took Emily�s hand in his and they started walking slowly. They walked in silence for almost half an hour, just enjoying each others company. When they reached the end of the pier they were walking on they stopped and looked out over the water. After a while Ezra pulled Emily close to him and they stood and held each other for a long time.

"Ezra?" Emily said after a while.

"Yes?" He said and looked at her.

"I want you to kiss me." She whispered.

"Gladly." He said and leaned in and captured Emily�s soft lips with his. He gently pushed her lips open with his tongue and started to softly explore her mouth.

Back in the nightclub Ceci, Chris, JD, Renee, Buck and Trix were the only ones left. The rest had headed back to the hotel, at least that�s what they had claimed they would do. JD and Renee had spent most of the evening dancing like there was no tomorrow. Buck had pulled Trix down in his lap and they sat giggling and whispering to each other.
Ceci was getting bored, she wasn�t much of a nightclub person but she had agreed to go since Chris had agreed.

"You�re bored." Chris said, like he had read her mind.

"Yeah." She answered honestly.

"Me too, shall we go?" He asked.

"I�d love to." She said and turned to Trix. "We�re leaving."

"Sure." Was the muffled response from her friend.

Chris and Ceci left the nightclub and started walking towards the hotel. Suddenly Chris stopped and Ceci also stopped and looked questioningly at him.

"What�s up?"

"Oh, I was thinking... but maybe you want to go back to the hotel?" He said.

"No, I�m not tired." She said.

"What do you say we rent rollerblades?" Chris said.

"Now?"

"Yes, now, there�s a place over there that say 'open 24 hours.'" Chris said and pointed to the store.

"...Okay. I guess we can." Ceci smiled.

"Great, let�s go." Chris said and grabbed her hand.

A couple of minutes later Chris helped Ceci with the rollerblades and then he helped her stand up. She took a few careful steps forward and it made Chris laugh.

"What?" She said and tried to look annoyed and failing miserably.

"You�re supposed to roll, hence the rollerblade name. You�re not supposed to walk." Chris was still laughing.

"This is not funny!" She said. "I�m not good at this."

"I�ll help you." He said and took her hand and put his arm around her waist. "Okay here we go."

"Be careful. I don�t want to fall." She said.

"Don�t worry, I won�t let you fall, I promise. Trust me." He said.

"I trust you." Ceci responded.

After about 15 minutes Ceci was getting better at rollerblading and Chris let her go. They kept going until Ceci suddenly fell over and Chris, unable to stop in time, fell too.

"You okay?" Chris asked.

"I think so. But you�re kind of hurting me." She said and Chris was quick to stand.

"Sorry." He said and pulled her up.

"It�s okay." She said and smiled.

Without a word Chris leaned in and kissed her deeply. At first Ceci was in shock but shortly thereafter she responded, with as much passion as Chris. They kissed for a long time and when they finally broke the kiss, Chris looked into Ceci�s blue eyes and then they smiled.

"You�re beautiful." Chris whispered and pulled her close and kissed her again.

The next morning Chris woke up in Ceci�s room. When he looked down at her where she lay resting on his chest, he saw that she was still asleep. Chris smiled and gently got out of bed without waking her. He quickly got dressed and headed out to get some breakfast for her.
In the dining room he nodded towards JD & Renee who sat eating together with Laura, Josiah and Nathan. When Chris retrieved a tray with breakfast he made his way back to the elevator. Just as he was about to push the button the elevator arrived and out Ezra & Emily came, arm in arm.

"Morning." Chris said with a small smile.

"Good morning, Mr Larabee." Ezra smiled. "I assume you had a pleasant night?"

"Yep." Chris said. "You too?"

"Very much so." Emily giggled. "Tell Ceci I said hi."

"I will." Chris said as the elevator doors closed between them.

When Chris got to the 8th floor he noticed Buck standing outside a room talking to someone. Soon Chris saw Trix� blonde hair and he heard her laugh. Buck leaned in and apparently kissed her and then he headed towards the elevator.

"Mornin� Chris." Buck grinned.

"Morning." Chris replied. "Nice night?"

"You bet." Buck said. "That Trix is really something."

"Apparently. You�re looking like some teenager." Chris said.

"Well so are you. Who�s the lucky lady?" Buck asked.

"Ceci." Chris said. "I�m gonna bring her breakfast."

"Nice gesture, Chris. I�ll see you later." He said.

Just as Buck pushed the button for the elevator it opened to reveal Vin. He looked somewhat embarrassed and just nodded to the men.

"Where are you goin�?" Buck asked.

"I�m gonna see if Rebecca wants breakfast." Vin said.

"She�s nice." Chris said with a small smile.

"That she is." Vin smiled and headed for her room.

Chris walked back to Ceci�s room and entered as quietly as he could. He found that she was awake. He sat down the tray with the breakfast on the bed and then climbed into it as well. Ceci smiled lazily towards him and gave him a quick kiss.

"Good morning." Chris smiled.

"Hi." She said and grabbed a glass of juice. "Thanks for bringing me breakfast."

"That�s the least I can do." Chris said and took a sip of his coffee.

"When I woke I thought you had left me."

"Why would I do that?"

"Well, I don�t know. It has happened before." She said looking a bit sad.

"I�m not gonna leave." Chris said and kissed her softly.

When Monday came and they all headed to the airport, Ezra was sad. He knew he had to say good bye to Emily and he didn�t want that. Ezra thought Chris, JD and Buck were lucky because Ceci, Renee and Trix all lived in Denver.

Chris, JD, Buck, Trix, Ceci and Renee all boarded the plane. When Josiah and Nathan had said goodbye to Maria and Laura they also got on the plane. Vin kissed Rebecca deeply and gave her a long hug.

"You are moving to Denver soon then?" Vin asked.

"Yes, within a month." Rebecca said. "I start my job in two months, I promise."

"Well I�ll see you soon then." Vin smiled and they kissed again, then Vin boarded the plane.

"I don�t want to leave." Ezra said as he and Emily stood hugging each other.

"Neither do I." Emily said kissing him.

"Oh, honey, don�t cry." Ezra said and wiped her tears with his thumb.

"I�m gonna miss you so much." Emily said.

"Me too. But we�ll call, every day." Ezra said and hugged her tightly.

"Promise me that you won�t forget me?" She said.

"I promise. I�ll come see you as soon as I can." Ezra said.

"Excuse me, Sir." The woman at the gate said. "But you have to board the plane now if you want to be on it."

"Thank you." Ezra nodded and turned back to Emily. "I�ll call."

"Do that." She said and tried her best to smile.

Ezra kissed her deeply and gave her a final hug then he boarded the plane.

A month later Ezra was still calling Emily every day. He was miserable without her and she felt the same.
One night Chris, Ceci, JD and Renee all invited Ezra to come to dinner with them. Ezra tried his best to decline politely but Ceci was persistant and in the end Ezra agreed.

They had their dinner at Ezra�s favorite restaurant but Ezra barely touched the food. Chris was worried, he hadn�t seen Ezra like this before, he seemed so heartbroken. Ceci on the other hand was also worried about Ezra but very worried about Emily. They kept in touch and everytime they spoke Ceci could hear the sadness in Emily�s voice.
Later that night Chris and Ceci drove Ezra home. Ezra invited them up and told them he need the company, so they agreed. When they stepped out of the elevator on floor 2, they saw a slim figure sitting by Ezra�s door. As they came closer the figure looked up.

"Emily!" Ezra exclaimed and rushed up to her and hugged her tightly, kissing her over and over again.

"Oh my God." Ceci said in shock. "What are you doing here?"

"Moving here." Emily said.

"What?" Ezra said.

"Yes, I got a job here too." She said. "I�m gonna be a secretary for ATF."

"What?" Chris, Ezra and Emily exclaimed in unison.

"I got the job yesterday so I flew out here immediately." She smiled.

"That is so wonderful my dear." Ezra said and kissed her again.

"But... Can I live here until I find an apartment?" She asked Ezra.

"Yes, on one condition." Ezra said.

"Anything." Emily smiled.

"You don�t move out... ever." Ezra said.

"What?What do you mean?"

"Live with me... forever." Ezra said.

"Yes... yes... yes!" Emily exclaimed and hugged Ezra tightly.

"Excuse me." Ceci said and Ezra & Emily looked at her. "I�m assuming you won�t need company?"

"No, I have all the company I need." Ezra smiled happily.

"Okay. See you later." Chris said and took Ceci�s hand and got in the elevator again.

After they had left Ezra grabbed Emily�s bag and carried it into his apartment. Emily came in after him and she immediately was impressed by the apartment, especially how clean it was.

"Let�s not care about that now." Ezra said and pulled her to him.

"What do you suggest we do?" Emily wondered.

"How about going to bed?" Ezra grinned.

"I�d love to." Emily smiled and then Ezra scooped her up in his arms and carried her towards the bed.
