OTHER MINOR PLAYS MENTIONED THROUGHOUT THE TEXT

Some of my less significant plays have been omitted from this web page such as STELLAR CITY (1994 - about an actor realising the falseness of Hollywood) and A MIDSUMMER AFTERNOON'S DREAM (1994 - about a world where humans and fairies co-exist and have prejudices against one another). They have been refered but not included, usually because they have not received a production, have not been polished to performable standard, or in the case of my most recent play THE GODDESS OF LOVE VS THE COUCH POTATO (which marked my international premiere as a part of the INTERNATIONAL REALLY SHORT PLAY FESTIVAL in New Zealand), is only a page long and thus seemed a minor work. The plays on this web page represents small culminations and milestones in my writing, as well as the plays which I consider my best artistic achievements. There is also my first novel THE NEAREST REVOLUTION, which I wrote between the ages of twelve and fourteen, which was an excellent learning experience but, having been written on a Commodore 64 has been difficult to collate and re-evaluate, which remains a project for me to do.

I feel slightly guilty about including the most recent versions of the following plays, often quite different to their original versions. Perhaps to include my `authentic' early versions would be a better representation of my development, but the fact remains that these are the versions I want to set down for posterity. The versions I have included are for the moment the final product - which is not to say that one day I might improve or change them.
