| Hi. My name is Jeremy and I'm big brother to Zachary and Jacqueline. I guess you could say this whole journey started with me! I was born September 19, 2000 and I too had a cleft lip. Mine was considered very mild. I had an incomplete unilateral cleft on the left side. I had one surgery when I was 3 months old and the only other surgery I may have is a bone graft when I'm older. | I just love my John Deere tractor that Mom and Dad got me for my 3rd birthday. I love anything that has to do with trucks, building, or electricity (much to mom and dad's horror) I make tents out of blankets and right now Scooby Doo is my favorite cartoon. | Even though Jeremy's cleft is considered mild, he will still need bone graft surgery. Here you can see there is a tooth growing in his palate. He's still too young for a set of panoramic x-rays to see if this is a permanent tooth or an extra tooth. We're hoping it's an extra one because it's not known whether it can be saved or not if it's permanent. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
