How I love the summer time. It fills me with such happiness and joy and it also means that it is that much closer to Andrew comming home from off of his mission!!!! YAY!!!
This is one of my favorite summer time memories. Last July (2006) Andrew and I went to Lethbridge with a couple other friends and had a great time. We ended up going to some Car Races, it wasn't too great. I would have prefered to have just done something that didn't cost money, seeing how I had already spent money to get some of us in, so that is precisely what Andrew and I did. Hendersen Park was right beside where we were so we went over there. We walked around the lake, took pictures and just enjoyed each others company. I had never gone on a  walk around Henderson Lake before. It was really nice. There were a couple golfers out some runners, along with some other couples walking around. This picture was taken by us (bottom left). Andrew put the timer on his camera, set it down on a stump  and hopped down over by me. I love this picture so much. I don't think I have one of us that I love more. And it seemed to turn out so well. The only problem was that I think we sat down close to an ant hill or something because I had ants crawling on me after. But I still hadlan enjoyable and amazing time. It was one of the last days Andrew and I had together before he left on his mission.
If I knew it would be the last time
that I'd see you fall asleep,
I would  tuck you in more tightly
and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

If I knew it would be the last time
that I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss
and call you back for one more.

If I knew it would be the last time
I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would video tape each action and word,
so I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time,
I could spare an extra minute
to stop and say I love you,
instead of assuming you would KNOW I do.

If I knew it would be the last time
I would be there to share your day,
well I'm sure you'll have so many more,
so I can let just this one slip away.

For surely theres always tomorrow
to make up for an oversight,
and we always get a second chance
to make everything just right.

There will always be another day
to say I love you,
And certainly there's another chance
to say our Anything I can do?

But just in case I might be wrong,
and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you
and I hope we never forget.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone,
young or old alike,
and today may be the last chance
I get to hold you tight.

So if you're waiting for tomorrow,
why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes,
you'll surely regret the day,

That you didnt take that extra time
for a smile, a hug, or a kiss,
and you were too busy to grant someone,
what turned out to be their one last wish.

So I will hold you ever so close today,
and whisper in your ear,
tell you how much I love you
and that I'll always hold you dear.

I take time to say I'm sorry,
Please forgive me, Thank you, or It's okay.
And if tomorrow never comes,
you'll have no regrets about today.
