I had come so far and I was not going to ride US.61 back to St.Francisville.
I knew I had missed my turn in Natchez.  Lower Woodville is the name. Coming off the bridge, it's a little over 2 miles to the crossroads.
I saved the trip by turning off on Grove Acres. It hit Lower Woodville and I was hooked up.
When you're hooked up and in the goove, things are wonderful.  The road had promise.  Down I went to do the rollercoaster that this part of MS offers. The soft loess erodes easily and makes for great roads that don't last long.
See, I told you I was hooked up. Whamo, right on schedule a great old store showed up.
It was like the road knew I was coming and put out the good stuff.
Ok, fast math, how old is it?
73, Fred.
Lower Woodville "narrowed".  The gravel was deep and I put the outriggers out on occasion just to check the list of the bike. It also gives me a chance to stretch my legs. Hey, man. I could ride this stuff standing on the pegs if I wanted to. Right.
