When I hit La.10, I went east past the 4 way stop at La.13 and then turned south on Old Hwy.13 which now is numbered as La.376. This picture is taken at Reddell. History unknown but it was on the railroad that went to Barber Spur.
Below is one of the Castles of Mamou.
I roamed Mamou for a while and decided to take La.95 out of town. Shortly after getting on 95 I left it for the dirt. Things are so much more real when you slow down and "take it in". Dirt smells good. It is our nature to think so, I do believe.
I can't add much to this.
Rice/crawfish/duck pond.
My kind of house in the right neighborhood.
Landscaping by Nature, Inc.
The road ended at this house. I went south and met 95 which took me into Chataignieer (sha tan ya).
