Philosophy: Education should be student-centered.  When planning lessons and curriculums, teachers need to take into account their students’ different learning styles. Every child can learn, but not all children learn the same way.  Students should have a chance to work individually and in groups.  Students should also be presented with choices when it comes to their education, so they feel that they have a personal stake in their education.  Students should also be shown how what they are learning is relevant to the world around them.
