. . . ] There are times when I'd watch the rain fall for no reason. I'd forget about the cold streets and gray skies; I'd forget my ruined plans and nagging schoolwork -- I'd just sit by a window quietly and watch the rain fall in soft slivers, then I'd sigh. At my little corner, I'd listen to the rain's dainty pit-pattering on my windows, and watch its tiny silver globes busily wash away yesterday's dust...and other old and broken dreams. Sometimes the rain makes me sad. Sometimes it makes me thoughtful. Always it makes me realize new things. This page has a collection of things that have made me feel the same way. |
