Parts A and B. Topics Covered: Matrix Models Patterns of Location, Shape and Size Patterns of Association Power Models Network Optimization Geometric Form and Its Function Patterns in Chance Grading Procedure: Grades for each marking period are determined based upon the following ratio: 1/3 of grade is based on Tests (Approx. 50 points per test) 1/3 of grade is based on Homework Checks (10 pts each) 1/3 of grade is based on Quizzes and Turned in Assignments (10 pts each) Assignment Workload: * Daily Homework Checks - Students will have daily homework with the exception of quiz days. Students are responsible for making up any missed homework. Daily homework will be graded on a complete or incomplete basis. This is not Home Answer but Home Work. Each student is responsible for having there own homework in there own notebook. * Weekly Quizzes - Once a week students will take a quiz over the content of the week. * Turned in Assignments - Assignments of a larger nature will be occasionally given. These assignments may take the place of daily homework or quizzes. These assignments will be graded on a correct or incorrect basis. * Tests - At the end of each unit, students will take a large test over the topics covered.
