THE LIE OF TRUTH
There is no TRUTH.
Ok, that is a pretty bald statement, an assertion which seems to fly in the face of all perceived reality. So let us modify it somewhat to take it out of slogan mode.
There is no spiritual truth that is discernable by human experience.
Ok, we get rid of the notion that Truth does not exist, so we can experience gravity and not be stupid about it. We have narrowed the field down to spiritual Truth, the sort of nonsense that religions try to feed people and are bought into by people of stupidity. (Never forget that spiritual experience is really nothing more than a serious misfire in the temporal lobes, a manifestation of mental illness.)
Now, let us posit that at some level, something has to be true somewhere. But that does not mean that it is always true under every circumstance. There can be significant mutability that we have no way of accounting for because we do not even know that it exists or what form it may take.
What this means is that we really do not know, we cannot know, at least not now. That means that whenever something is said to be True in the non-physical realm it is probably not totally true, or even true in any way shape or form (witness Karma). This means that any such assertion is going to be at some level untrue.
So remember that when anyone says of anything spiritual, "X is TRUE," they are speaking a fundamental untruth.
They are lying.
