Magick
PAZUZU

The demon of the the southwest desert wind who brings hot, dry air.  He is sacred to all who live in the northern Midwest and who every January shout to the heavens,

"WE WANT OUR GLOBAL WARMING AND WE WANT IT NOW!!!!!"
Magick is something that folks just like to do.  And of all the forms of it that I studied when I was young talismanic magick was the form that struck me as the most interesting.  In fact, it was reading an article on "Electronic Talismans" in an old, short lived magazine in 1977 that finally pushed me to build my first radionic unit.

In essence, all talismans are transmitters of occult energy.  The combination of their form, the thoughts associated with that form coming either from the creator of the talisman or, in the case of the patterns and pentacles here the old traditions associated with them amplified by centuries of being used, cause talismans to send those powers out from them, radiating them as it were.

When used in conjunction with psionic devices, the usual procedure is to place the pattern or pentacle on the transmittal side of the machine and the witness of the receiver at the other side, appropriately named the receiver.  The instrument is then left to run and the receiving party will just sort of naturally have the energy of the pattern or pentacle placed in his etheric body.

Spirit communication took many forms, from talking with angels, to demons, to those who fit neither catagory and necromancy, communicating with the dead.  While evoking things outside a circle to full visibility was the most dramatic means, and the most rare, the most common was to use a table with a ring suspended over letters scattered around its surface.  The earliest record we have of that technique goes back to the Roman Empire and probably was used by the Etruscans (who gave the Romans virtually all their divination techniques).
This method survives and the board below was created for just such use.

Getting around what Peter Carroll calls the "Psychic Censor" has been a task of magickians and sorcerers for ages.  This is an updated method for doing just that.
