Protestant church writer. Studied in Debrecen from 1615. With support of Gábor Perényi föispán of Ugocsa and Abauj counties, studied from 1622 at the Universities of Wittenberg,  Frankfurt-am-Oder and Franeker. In 1624 Rektor at Nagybánya, Pastor form 1624 in Tórterebes, after 1632 in Beregszász.  Following the turning roman catholic of one of his relations, he wrote his dynamic work "Romanocategorus", Debrecen 1637. His work is mainly anti-Pázmány and anti-Bellarmino in the spirit of the orthodox Kalvinism. He was
represented by the intellectual essayist proze.

and Eger. 1727/28 teacher in Kolozsvár, thereafter principal of a number of monasteries.

Works: Excercitationes poeticae, 1.De clade Georgi Rákóczi junioris, 2. Strena Deo nato, Claudiopoli 1727. -Allocutiones oratoriae 1728.

Fought on the Russian front as corporal 1914-16, demobilised due to illness. Managing Director of the Consumer and Credit Co-operative, Commander of the local firebrigade, Member of the Magyar Néppárt (in Slovakia)

Wrote articles in Népnevelö 1913.

Translation from a Field Card in Hungarian.  Original held, together with his photo, among his nephew's, Charles T Chiba's, RY #12, papers.

Addressed to : Mrs Orbán Csiba,  Budapest, Sárkány utca 1

Date 8 March, probably 1916

"Dear Madam,  It is my comradely duty to inform you that, your beloved son Mihály was wounded on the 7th March. I will pass on any further news as soon as I get them.
I remain, respectfully yours, Mór Stark."

My address: 1st Honvéd Infantry Regiment, 2nd  Company,3rd Platoon

Postscript. Csiba Mihály, son of Orbán & Cecilia,  died within a few days; he was buried there, somewhere along the river Piave. He was 19 years old. This is all that was left of him.
