In the newly expanding trend of erotic romance novels, how far is too far?  The need for erotic books came about from the lack of heat in regular romance novels.  Mature readers want details of the most exciting parts of the book.  An author wouldn't skim over the plot of the story, so why do they insist on skimming over the love scenes?  By being graphic are we opening ourselves up to be labeled at literary porn?

At what point do we go from erotic to pornographic?  Can a book without photos be considered porn?
