Well fall has come and gone (touncils left then too...) winter is starting to dissapear and spring is rite around the corner.

I was laid off in January and my dad passed on on the 17th of that month , so, I decided to pack up and leave. I thought I was going home but I ended up here in Yarmouth with Nick, withwhom I am back with, we have a new apartment in the historic distirct (would I be anywhere else?) And we are doing very well together.

Today I am waiting for my washer and dryer to arrive, so I thought I would kill some time (other than crafting) and update my blog.

I heard in the news yesterday that was a committee member here in yarmouth was dismissed by the mayor for not be politically forward...I am not too sure what that means, but I am under the understanding( from being on previous committees with HRM) that the Mayor, doesn't have the authourity to do such a thing. The person dismissed is stating that his human rites have been violated and he is persuing it futher.....hmmmm...lets see where this goes.

I was talking to my freind Sue this morning..great to keep in touch with her. She is and has been a great friend...along with a few others in our clicq...miss them dearly. Love talking politics and see whats going on in Halifax.

Back to the crafting i mentioned earlier, I have been working with clay, very interesting, so far I have made insence burners of different types, cigarette butters, and now im working on clay easter eggs and egg cups to give away for easter. Tom, if your reading this..i need some helpful hints....lol.

In september, I will be taking university prep courses in order to take my lpn course (liscensed Pratical Nurse) I am very excited about that.
