Blind boy’s success appreciated
COOCH BEHAR, July 30: Telecom District Manager, Cooch Behar, Mr MK Seth appreciated Biswajit Barman who secured highest marks in the Madhyamik examination among the physically challenged students in the state. He got 90.11 percent marks. On behalf of BSNL Mr Seth handed over a shield to Biswajit for his remarkable success. Mr Seth also gave a shield to the principal of Government School for the Blind, Cooch Behar, Mr Phani Bhusan Sen.
The annual prize distribution ceremony and cultural function of Government School for the Blind, Cooch Behar was held on Friday. The TDM Mr Seth appreciated the school authorities for developing and motivating the blind students of the school. He assured all help to the school.
District Employment Officer Mr Sudipta Chakraborty presided over the programme. Headmistress of Sunity Academy Mrs Bhupali Roy, district engineer Mr PK Chaudhury, Mr DK Roy and other distinguished persons attended the programme.
