Realizing that on the old site, the news portion was more of a personal blog... Well, here is an actual blog that I can channel that kind of output towards...
For those of you who don't know me, I'm Doc P... Founder of Post Mortem Industries, and main creative player in all of our projects. Recently, we have decided to branch out, and allow our own distribution methods to work for other local musicians. The couldn't be a more appropriate first 'customer' than long time creative and business partner, Raw B.
There is much to be done around the Triage Ward, the new PostMortem Industries HQ, and thus much to report. In addition to the shiny new postmortemindustries.com site you're looking at, [we've just launched our first tests as I'm writing this,] recent collaboration with Fly By Night Productions and Raw B have lead to a plethora of new opportunities for both groups, as well as the fans. This is the place to get CD's, Gear and Posters, (and coming soon: DVD's,) from Doc P, and the Infamous Raw B themselves...Our PostMortem artists are lining up live shows, we're all pitching in for our quarterly magazine effort, the PostMortem Manifesto.
As I hinted at before, there are talks of a live CD/DVD in the works... The music's being constantly updated. We're offering full production of albums for local artists, from recording to sales/booking. I get the pleasure of revitalizing a project that died earlier last year to full effect, and launching it to the public: Golden Era Games, a lesser-known notch in the PostMortem belt. The concept is to create interesting and relevant video games based on the early 1990's role playing game style. Of course, this being a PostMortem project, things are going to be drastically different than what you remember of those games...
More to come...
